Welcome to Moultonborough Central School

Our VISION is to prepare and empower each student to shape his or her future with
knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to thrive in a changing world.

About Our School

Principal Kathleen D'Haene welcomes you to Moultonborough Central School. The school offers an integrated preschool program for children with special needs from ages 3-5 as well as offering enrollment by lottery as space allows for other Moultonborough preschool aged children.

We have full day kindergarten in which the students are able to ride the bus to and from school, have lunch, and enjoy the many offerings here at MCS.

Special education case managers, a reading specialist and trained staff support education in the school. MCS has a full time registered nurse, guidance counselor, library media specialist, and technology support technician. Moultonborough School District's two schools also share the services of a school psychologist, speech and language pathologist, occupational therapist, and special education director.

School starts for students on Monday, August 28th.
New start and end times:
Academy:  7:50 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.
Central School:  8:10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

  • New Bus Routes 2017_18

Here are our new bus routes for the 2017_18 school year.

When school opens on Monday, August 28th, Moultonborough Academy’s start time will be 7:50 a.m., and Moultonborough Central School’s start time will be 8:00 a.m. We will have six buses covering routes. Annette Rowland, Lauren Lavoie-Sturgeon, Jon Tolman, and Pam Bishop (First Student) worked together with Superintendent Noyes to create new bus routes. One of the goals of the work was to create routes that covered all of Moultonborough’s territory in the most efficient way possible, so students are not on buses longer than necessary.
